  • Dr. Pannu is a good professor, I don't like the subject because I have already passed statistics. Although the majority of the information in this course was previously covered when I first took statistics, Lamar will not count that course because the course numbers do not match which is frustrating. With that said, it is obvious that Dr. Pannu cares about her students learning as much as possible, which helps make taking a redundant statistics course bearable. She tries to get students involved and interested in the topic by making questions relatable. Her tests are fair and some of the most reasonable I have encountered in college. The tests actually ask questions similar to those encountered in homework, while challenging students to prove they understand the tested subject matter. I would prefer if attendance were not mandatory because I understood the material well enough to miss, but recognize the importance of students attending to understand. Overall, I think Dr. Pannu is one of the better professors I have had at Lamar University.
