  • Even though it was an 8 am class, very enthusiastic every day which made coming to class a little easier.

  • She was a great teacher and made sure everybody understood the material before moving on. Expected a lot of class participation which slowed down the pace of the course. Overall, very helpful professor.

  • You're a great teacher! I just don't loveeeee statistics. I like the atmosphere you have created in the class room. It's not too serious, but you still have 100% control. I would recommend your class to a friend who needed to take stats.

  • New topics were generally explained in detail, although it would have been good to continue to integrate previous topics into current lessons to keep the material fresh and help students prepare for the cumulative final exam.

  • Ms. Jasdeep is an excellent Statistics instructor. She always exhibited a positive attitude, personality, and work ethic towards the class. I wish her much success in her career with this department and study.

  • I learned the material as it was presented... but I felt that the material was too watered down and could have been presented in a more intellectually challenging manner.

  • She was always encouraging us to participate in class.

  • She was a good teacher but somethings did not come across totally clear this may have been because our semester was so short and there is so much to learn in so little time.

  • The class was very straightforward and she did a very good job of explaining the material.

  • Very helpful and fair. Made the class interesting.

  • I just wish she would post notes on canvas before class that way I can be better prepared to take notes.

  • Graded homework.

  • Her lecture was easy to understand and well-organized.

  • End of the semester, she provided many example questions and went over the practice test, and that helped me a lot to understand.

  • Grades were all fair. You are the best :-)

  • I had a hard time enjoying the class because I HATE statistics. Other than that the class was okay. I would prefer more examples in class.

  • She was nice on Fridays during labs.

  • We all appreciated the extra effort the instructor gave in helping us to understand the material.

  • I appreciate her flexibility and she is genuinely a nice person.

  • Jas, is a wonderful professor. She gives plenty of notes and practice examples. She cares about her students grades and she always encourages us to be active in class. I always have a little trouble understanding foreign professors, so that was really my only issue with this course.

  • Towards the end of the semester Jas began teaching the lessons by hand writing problems and examples on the board. I believe this was really effective. Also the Friday session for homework help was extremely helpful and enjoyable.
